from the top to the bottom of the stack corresponds to the
desired order of the sheets to be printed.

Tri~sectored cylinder 3 is supported by rollers 4 and 5.
Rollers 4 and 5 are alternatively driving and pivoting
rollers. Roller 5 acts as a pivoting means while roller 4
drives tri'~sectored cylinder 3 so that portion 3a thereof
engages a printing plate 1 and draws it from the bottom of
the stack of printing plates, past an inking station
generally designated 6 and into the position shown by the
dotted lines, A previously engaged and inked plate is held
at position 3b on cylinder 3. Roller 4 then becomes a
pivoting means while roller 5 drives portion 3b of tri-~
sectored cylinder 3 from the position shown by the dotted
lines past printing roller 7.
