Abstract

A feedback control is provided for a laser or similar radiant energy system wherein propagation of the energy through a liquid crystal is modulated by the liquid crystal in response to a series of parallel electrodes on either side of the path~, The electrodes are elec~ trically connected to a photoconductor or similar device positioned downstream from the electrodes responsive to energy which has traversed the electrode areas The feedback control thus provided is useful in stabilizing the output of the system~
