Abstract

This idea relates to an improvement for a device which employs a monochromatic light source as a scanning light source and when the light source color is close in wavelength to the color on a document being scanned~ In this instance, a document is imaged onto a Ruticon 2 using a panchromatic light source 3 and thereafter the Ruticon is scanned with a monochromatic source 4 onto a photoconductor 5 by scanner 6.
