Abstract

An improvement for assisting sheet separation from bottom feed paper tray 20 includes separating the sheets 15 while they are stacked within the tray by vibrating the tray with vibrator 30, This vibration causes relative movement between the sheets in the stack and thereby reduces break~ away friction during the feed cycle.
