Abstract

In the drawing, paper 2 is fed into a typewriter from the rear of the platen 3 along a first guide channel 4, A second guide channel 5 comprising a double'~'channel arrange~~~ ment forces the paper 2 upward and is so positioned that the paper will be tangential to the radius of the platen 3 at the print area 6~ The use of channel 5 eliminates the need for a separate card guide to force the paper 2 against the platen 3 in the print area,
