Abstract

lonomeric resins such as ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer ionicaliy crosslinked by sodium or zinc ions may be dissolved in a mixture of aromatic and alcohol solvents then coated on metal cores to provide electrostatographic carrier par-tides. The carrier particles are suitable for use in re-versal development of electrostatic latent images. The coatings have excellent adhesion, impact strength, and are highly resistant to abrasion.
