Abstract

Referring to the figure, a cover 1 for a book includes a centrally located layer of pressure sensitive adhesive and a removable protective strip 3. The cover may be fixed to an edge of a stack 4 of mutually secured sheets by removing the strip and pressing the edge against the adhesive, as indicated by the arrow. Thereafter, the cover may be folded around the corners of the stack to protect its outer-most sheets. Preferably, the width of the adhesive strip is equal to or larger than the width of said edge.
