Abstract

An exposure meter 10 is disposed upon platen 12 of an electrophotographic printing machine. A reflector 14 directs the light rays 16 through filter 18 to meter 10. A slide is reproduced as an opaque copy and the light from the projector adjusted until the copy is satisfactory. At that time, exposure meter 10 is calibrated. Thereafter, the light from the projector is adjusted so that the expo-sure meter continually reads the same value. In this way, successive copies from different slides will all produce substantially optimum copies.
