Abstract

The purpose of this idea is to provide an adjustable fixed reflecting mirror for reflecting a light ray along the same given path regardless of the path of the ray prior to striking the mirror. A plurality of bulbs is used with a separate mirror for each bulb. The path of the ray prior to striking the mirror is fixed for each bulb but may vary from bulb to bulb requiring this type of adjusting mechanism to compensate for the various bulbs, Also, if a bulb is replaced, the ray path may change requiring a new adjustment.

Referring to the attached drawing, a mirror mount bracket 3 is
slidably secured by screw 1 to block 4. The bracket 3 can
slide relative to the block 4 upon loosening screw 1. A mirror
mount 7 is pivotally mounted to the bracket 3 at pivot point 5.
The mirror 6 is pivotally adjusted relative to bracket 3 by
rotation of screw 2. Two different beam paths are shown, Z-~Y

beam will reflect to point X along path X-W, the screw 1 is

Screw 1 is tightened to secure the b...
