Abstract

It is disclosed that solvent vapor may be utilized to fix a black or full color toner image to cloth. A toner image is formed on an abhesive substrate then transferred electro-statically to cloth. The, cloth is then exposed to solvent vapor by means such as suspension in an atmosphere saturated with solvent vapors. The solvent material should be nontoxic, nonflammable, vaporizable at low temperatures and an effective solvent for the toner being fixed to the cloth.
