Abstract

The toughness of electrostatographic carrier coatings is in-. creased and toner adhesion forces are reduced by covalently crosslinking the coating resins. The resin coating composi-tions are preferably applied to carrier cores and then post-treated. Developer mixtures prepared with these carrier materials have improved useful lifetimes.
