Abstract

A method of attaching the end of a sheet transport belt to a winding shaft forming a narrow central tongue or tail approxi-mately two inches wide at the end of the belt, At least two spaced openings are made in the shaft, through which the tail is wrapped. Two pre-creased bends or folds may be placed in this belt tail to insure that it will not slip out. This attachment method is similar to that utilized for loading cer-tam roll films into cameras.
