Abstract

The surface of a photoreceptor element employed in the forma-tion and development of electrostatic latent images may be provided with a durable surface having release properties by coating the photoreceptor with polytetrafluoroethylene dispersed in a silicone matrix. The polytetrafluoroethylene is applied with a matrix of another low surface energy material such as a cross-linked silicone to prolong the life of the antifilming activity of the polytetrafluoroethylene.
