Abstract

An improved hinge 10 is used to fasten a cover 12 to a station-ary frame 14 so that the cover can be placed and held in any desired position relative to the frame. A fibrous material 16 is cemented to the movable half 18 of the hinge, and a screen 20 is cemented to the stationary half 22. This arrangement provides a holding force which is proportional to the area of engagement between the material 16 and the screen 18,
