A photoreceptor comprising a conductive substrate, a layer of
a photoconductive charge carrier generating material and a
charge carrier transport layer comprising an electronically
inert film forming polymeric binder material and an electron-
ically active oligomer which is represented by the formula:

where R' is isopropyl and n is an integer in the range of from
1 to 50. These oligomers are capable of rapid and efficient
transport of holes. The relative weight ratio of oligomer to
binder in the transport layer is in the range of from about 1:3
to about 3:1.

The oligomers form clear transparent solid solutions with
various polymeric binder materials and such solutions behave
as homogeneous polymer blends. The oligomers also exhibit
extremely low volatility and typically will not evaporate from
the resin binder even at high temperatures. The solid
solutions exhibit improved resistance to leaching by liquid
developer solvents.
