Abstract

A photoreceptor of the type disclosed in U.S. Patent No0 3,787,208 (R,N, Jones) is prepared by blending photoconductive pigment and polymer matrix material in a jet micronizing process so as to cover each polymeric particle with a firmly bonded ushellfl of pigment particles. The polymer material forms the bulk of the mixture, i.e., more than about 75% by volume. A layer of this composition can be deposited on a suitable substrate and subjected to a temperature sufficient to fuse the polymer particles to form a continuous film,
