Background

         A requirement exists for the automated dispensing of flux using existing equipment and approved flux. Manual dispensing creates the possibility of human error, such as too much or not enough flux on the dispense table. The conventional system has no way of securely fastening a tube of flux for dispensing.

General description

         The disclosed method includes a fixture that enables the use a flux dispense system for flux dipping without relying on manual dispensing. The method joins two existing parts of a ball placer.
