Background

         Conventionally, all computer desks must be adjusted manually for each user.

Description

         The disclosed method is an automatic ergonomic computer desk with electric worm-drives in the legs of the desk. When an end-user logs into their PC, the desk height is automatically adjusted to a predetermined height. The end-user would configure his or her PC to the correct ergonomic height. This configuration would be loaded every time they log on to their PC with their name. This arrangement would be especially useful in a work or lab environment where PCs are shared among numerous users.
