Abstract

This disclosure relates to a work shelf assembly and a paper organizer for a small copier or other office machines. The shelf assembly 10 has a base 12 with a document retaining portion 14 attached thereon, Base 12 has downwardly curving flange portions 16 and 18 for attaching the assembly to a rear cover of the copier. The attachment of the work shelf assembly to part of the main frame of the copier improves the rigidity of both the cover and the assembly. The document retaining portion 14 has a plurality of document supporting waIls 20 which form slots for retaining different groups of documents, End members 22 cooperate with walls 20 to retain the documents in place. Flange 24 of base member 12 cooperate with the first wall 20 to retain documents in the first slot.
