Abstract

Inexpensive, metal xerographic carriers having optimum magnetic and triboelectric properties may be provided by coating steel cores with metals chosen for their triboelectric properties- The coating metal may be selected from nickel, zinc, brass, cadmium, copper, lead, chromium, tin and aluminum, The coating metal may be applied by electroplating or hot-dipmethods.
