Abstract

In an electrophotographic printing machine, sets of copies are frequently reproduced. Each set is collected in an output tray. The output tray is pivoted between successive sets so that sequential sets are staggered relative to one another. The sets are staggered in two dimensions to provide space between the corners of alternate sets for a corner staple to be inserted therein.
