Abstract

Equalization of the triboelectric charging properties of carrier particles may be provided by doping the carrier coating composition with a triboelectric modifying agent such as a pigment or a dye. The resultant carrier particles are especially useful with blends of multi-colored toner particles. Suitable doping agents include Sudan Blue Oil Soluble, Heliogen Blue Oil Soluble and Permanent Yellow.
