Abstract

An imaging member comprising a charge generation layer, which comprises a layer of photoconductive material and a contiguous charge transport layer of a polycarbonate resin having dispersed therein from about 10 to about 75% by weight of bis-(4-N ,N-die thylamino-2-me thylpheny1)- 4-N ,N-die thylamino-phenylme thane, said photoconductive layer exhibiting the capability of photogeneration of holes and injection of said holes is disclosed. The charge transport layer being substantially non-absorbing in the spectral region at which the photoconductive layer generates and injects photogenerated holes but being capable of supporting the injection of photogenerated holes from said photoconductive layer and transporting said holes through said charge transport layer.
