Abstract

A direct control paddle wheel apparatus 80 for document corner registration includes a paddle wheel 81 with multiple blades 90 that drive a document into registration with corner 83. The blades, as they rotate, are channeled in a direction plate 100 or in the alternative along the surface of an interference barrier (not shown) and as a consequence, drive a document from side to side as well as straight ahead depending on the shape of the plate or barrier.
