Abstract

An image recorded on a photoconductive surface may be developed by applying sticky toner thereto and off-setting it therefrom onto paper or special transfer sheet. The sticky toner is applied to the photoconductive surface by a roll which has a screen outer covering, a porous cylinder and a special foam-filled material adapted to function as a reservoir and wicking for a liquid. The toner and liquid are deposited on the latent image recorded on the photoconductive surface. There-after, the liquid facilities transfer of the tacky toner to a copy sheet.
