Abstract

Disclosed is a magnetic imaging system wherein an infra-red absorption filter is contained near or at the active surface of a reflex imaging member, which filter enhances visible response, contrast and color response. A reflex imaging member as described, for example, in U.S. Patent No. 3,522,090, containing such infra-red absorbers allows broad exposure latitudes for a large range of original document contrasts, including low density originals and colored originals with standard white light sources such as xenon flash lamps.
