Abstract

This invention relates to ozone and other noxious gases reducing means in electrostatographic copying machines. On page 217 of the September/October 1981 issue of the Xerox Disclosure Journal, Volume 6 Number 5, a combined filtering device for the removal of ozone and particulate material in the air was disclosed. A specific construction of such combined filtering device was shown therein. The present invention provides additional constructions of such a combined filtering device for use in electrostato-graphic copying machines. Schematic illustrations of the present filtering devices are shown above.
