Abstract

This invention relates to paper and document handling devices in which the paper is conveyed by frictional engagement with paper feeding rollers. Such a frictional engagement between the paper feeding rollers and a sheet of paper bearing a toner image may cause abrasion of the image. The present invention provides that such paper feeding rollers be made of a silicone oil impregnated material, such as a silicone elastomer.
