Abstract

As shown in' the drawing, an end cap indicated generally by the reference numeral 10 has a plurality of spaced pins 12, preferably molded integrally with housing 14. Pins 12 mate with holes in roller 16. Retaining ring 18 secures cap 10 to roller 16. Housing 14 of cap 10 may have tapered sides in addition thereto. In this way, end cap 10 may apply torque to roller 16 so as to provide for rotation thereof. Ring 18 applies a specified amount of pressure on end cap 10 to secure it in position during thermal expansion and contraction. A heat shield 20, made preferably from aluminum, may also be employed. .
