Abstract

A sheet separator utilizing the Bernoulli principle to lift the top sheet from a stack. An air injector plate 6 above the stack 20 is provided with an upward curve 14 above the lead edge of the stack to take advantage of the Coanda effect to lift the lead edge of the top sheet from under a retainer finger 18 providing an initial buckle separation, and lifting the lead edge into take away rolls 16.
