Abstract

In an electrophotographic printing machine, a photoconductive member is em-ployed. Frequently, the photoconductive member is a flexible belt. Only one surface of the photoconductive belt is utilized. In order to double the life of the photoconductive belt, both surfaces could be employed. To this end, if the photoconductive belt were arranged as a mobius strip, both surfaces thereof would be utilized. Under these latter circumstances, the life of the photoconductive belt would be significantly extended.
