Abstract

A low cost but accurate retainer for positioning and holding ball bearings and the shafts to which they are fitted, comprising a single piece plastic molding. The bearing is supported by four molded-in lands 1. The retainer and bearing are positioned on a copier frame, and the bearing is captured in the retainer by snapping into the four dogs 2.
