Abstract

Disclosed is a process for the preparation of a duplex dielectric sheet useful, for example, in electrographic printing systems. The sheet contains a conductive base paper with a coating on both sides of a thin layer, about 0.25 mils thick, of a polyethylene or polypropylene film. The resulting sheet is then subsequently heat embossed with either a straight line or other pattern, with a frequency of 200-500 lines per inch. This sheet is useful in electrographic printers wherein the backing electrode is in the form of a brush.
