Abstract

In an electrophotographic printing machine, a stack of sheets is mounted on an elevator which moves successive uppermost sheets into contact with a sheet feeder for advancement to the processing stations therein. Slida bly mounted metal rear and side guides press the stack against a registration edge. A latching mechanism secures the guides in position with the sheets pressing against the registration edge. The guides may be reversed and different screw threads employed to achieve a different resolution or a different length of travel.
