Abstract

In an electrophotographic printing machine employing a liquid developer material, the carrier solvent is recovered. Solvent recovery may be achieved by using a carbon filter system. In a system of this type, the carbon filter is periodically heated so as to be regenerated. A heating pipe may be used to heat the carbon filter during regeneration. A spiral coil, disposed interiorly of the tube, is heated. As the spiral coil heats the air, turbulence causes the air to mix improving heating of the tube.
