Abstract

An automated system in which an appropriate marker tag is delivered upon operator demand. The system uses a computer and a printer. The operator keys in the corresponding marker tag identification on the computer. The printer outputs on plastic tag material sets of identification marker tags. The parts are delivered to station and the operator secures the marker tag to the assembly using an automated cable tie system.
