Abstract

Figure 1 shows a fuser system 10 wherein a heated roller 12 is in intimate contact with a biased web member 14. Paper sheet 16, bearing a developed, transferred image on its surface, enters a nip area 18 formed between rollers 12 and a biased roller 20. roller 20 has a bowed configuration such that the contact between the bowed roller and the surface of fuser roller 12 is an arc thereby drawing copy sheet 16 taut and eliminating wrinkling.
