Abstract

Job Review provides access to a job that has been scanned into an electronic reprographic system in order to view and/ or change parameters and imaginal data of that job. There are two major tasks within Job Review. The first task is changing the programming of the job. The following features are accessible to the operator via the User Interface (UI) and may be changed at the job level: job name, account, comment, security protection, quantity, output, paper type, covers paper color. On a page or group of pages, the following may be changed: quantity, paper type, paper color, sides imaged, crop, mask, rotate, image shift, merge item, chapter starts, insert (paper size, paper type, paper color).

The second major task that Job Review prorides is previewing, changing, and rearranging the scanned images within tb= job. The operator may see the pages of the job as scaled representations of the actual output page on the TJI. The operator may look at each page (front and back in the case of duplex) as if he/she had a proof of the job right on the screen. The pages may be viewed in a number of orientations: portrait, landsca?e, inverse portrait, and inverse landscape. The scaling changes seen are based on the orientation and size of the output sheet.
