Abstract

To enable bettter documentation and cost management by copier users, a job receipt printer is connected to a copier or printer. This printer produces a printout reflecting a change in billing meter readings for any job that is run on the machine. Additionally, the job receipt printer may provide calculations indicating printing costs to be billed for the job.
