Abstract

A baMe in a reclaim chamber of a toner dispenser that prevents dry toner agglomeration and blockage is disclosed. As illustrated in the figure, the bame 1 is supported on compression springs 2 and utilizes the motion of an auger 3 inside dispenser chamber 4 to oscillate the toner and prevent toner bridging. The anti-bridging baffle 1 is unique from other anti-bridging devices because the spring supports provide an accelerated motion for the baffle to return it to a rest position and not simply relying on gravity for the return force.
