Abstract

A three piece pulley for improved paper handling registration in electrophotographic printers and copiers is disclosed. The three piece pulley assembly 1 is comprised of a drive plate 2, an interfacing drive washer 3, having interpenetrating tabs, a pulley 4, and an "E"-ring 5, all slidably mounted on a "D"-shaft 6 as shown in the Figure. The regularly spaced tabs on both sides of drive washer 3 may be adjusted independently to change the rotational displacement between the drive plate 2 and the pulley 4. The drive washer 3 may be adjusted and engaged to drive plate 2 and pulley 4 to lock in a desired angular relationship.
