Abstract

A fixed micrometer head for use in leveling scorotrons in imaging scanners is disclosed. The micrometer head may be used to accurately level a scorotron wire to an imaging drum surface of a scanning apparatus. As shown in three views in the figure, the leveling device micrometer head 1 contains micrometers 2 and 3. A heavy duty extension spring 5 keeps tension on a fixed position and a yoke and guide 4 prevents wobble. The micrometer head is mounted on a yoke and a scorotron is mounted on the tip of the micrometer.
