Abstract

Custom color inks for liquid ink annotation applications in electrophoto-graphic related printing and copying machines is disclosed. The concept of custom color allows a supplier or customer to custom blend desired colors of marking materials for specific customer applications. Custom colors are used widely in industry and commerce to impart trade dress or brand recognition among customers. Custom color inks for use in liquid annotation using, for example, ink jet printers may be formulated by a customer or operator by using a clear base ink formulation that may be mixed with colored ink concentrates in well defined proportions.
