A CMOS amplifier for image sensor arrays comprising two source followers with reset transistors on both the first and second source follower is disclosed.

Figure 1 represents a block diagram of the CMOS circuit 10, while Figure 2
schematically illustrates the respective integrated components.

As shown in Figure 1, the double CMOS circuit 10 includes a first stage amplifier 24 and a cascaded second stage amplifier 12. Bias networks 18 and 22 are respectively connected to the input and output stages for controlling the individual stage operating points. Resets 14 and 16 are connected to the corresponding input and output ports of amplifier 24. Both reset switches supply voltage VDD. Reset switch 20 is connected to the output port of amplifier 12. It is a ground switching device.
