Abstract

Disclosed are end caps for capping ends of aluminum photoreceptor drum substrates. The end caps are essentially tapered plastic lids and are preferably used during clean up processes with caustic detergents, thereby preventing reagents from entering the interior of the aluminum cylinders and contaminating subsequent washing steps. The lids are particularly useful in dip coating operations.
