Abstract

Proposed is a method of manufacturing large volumes of fuser rolls. As illustrated in the Figure, there is shown a schematic representation of a multiple ring coater 10. A computer (not shown) controlled mixing/metering station 22 in the center of the ring functions to dispense accurately mixed ratios of coating material. A center transverse mechanism 20, which is also automatically controlled by a computer (not shown), accurately moves a plurality of individual coating stations 21,23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 in and out of the centrally located mixing/metering station 22.
