Abstract

A stainless steel photoreceptor grounding brush is proposed to replace the current photoreceptor grounding brush. The brush has very fine stainless steel fibers that are resilient. Since the fibers are resilient, breakage does not occur which is an advantage over the existing carbon brush. The stainless steel brush is the same size as the existing brush and is mounted in exactly the same manner.
