Abstract

Proposed is an improved feature comprising a "specified pages" option for Xerox Viewpoint fY E-mail application software. The feature enables a workstation user to select individual document pages or a series of selected document pages prior to an electronic mailing. It is projected to be used when corrections to a larger document are distributed. Advantages of the proposed page selection feature include: reduced waste of consumable supplies (paper and toner), a reduction in allocated storage memory on a workstation or file server, and improved customer satisfaction through the elimination of redundancy stress caused by repetitious mailing.
