Abstract

Disclosed is an adjustable high voltage power supply for altitude correction. An AC voltage adjustment feature is placed on a magnetic brush roll developer power supply in order to accommodate changes in altitude at which the machine operates. This adjustment feature is primarily for a single component development system. The adjustable power supply is intended to enable reduction of the bias voltage and prevent arcing in magnetic brush roll developers in a printing or copying machine operating in a high altitude situation, such as a mountainous region or in aircraft.
