Abstract

The transfer baffle which should guide the copy sheet evenly onto the photoreceptor surface for image transfer in a copier or printer can become misaligned, and cause image deletions. It is suggested to provide a transfer baffle which is mounted on spring loaded adjustment screws to provide three degrees of adjustability, plus one degree of floating freedom via a pivot mounting in the plane of the photoreceptor.
